Project Description: MacroPlan Australia was commissioned by 02 Dogs Pty Ltd to prepare a report supporting a planning permit application for the use and development of a Petrol Station, Retail Premises, Food and Drink Premises and Indoor Recreation Facility with associated car parking at Tom Roberts Parade, Point Cook within Wyndham City Council. The site is located in the Innisfail Estate, Point Cook. The area was one of the fastest growing suburbs in Melbourne and Point Cook was expected to house over 12,000 families at completion. The area was characterised by single and double storey detached dwellings. The report demonstrated how the proposed development is consistent with Council’s Strategic Direction and State and Local Planning Policies as outlined in the Wyndham Planning Scheme. In particular, the proposal is consistent with the approved Innisfail Development Plan and the particular provisions relating to Service Stations and Car Parking.
